I picked up a few accessories from kamadojoe.com for my grill, including the soapstone and cover, and they’ve been really solid so far. Both feel heavy and well made, definitely not cheap or flimsy. Shipping was fine too, though of course they showed up right when I was too busy to actually use them for a bit, which was just bad timing on my end. Once I finally got around to trying them, they worked great and I’ve had no issues. Overall, I’m happy with the quality.

I’ve had my Kamado Joe for a few months now, and the build quality was the first thing I noticed. The ceramic is super heavy and feels tough, the lid lines up nicely, and Nothing about it feels cheap or flimsy.

After a bunch of cooks, even the hinges and side shelves still feel really solid. It’s definitely not a small purchase, but it FEELS like something I’ll be using for years.

I do like this grill overall, and my gut told me it was a solid buy. That said, cleaning it isn’t quite as easy as I hoped. The ash tray definitely helps, but grease and little stuck-on bits still need some scrubbing. It’s not a dealbreaker or anything, just a little annoying sometimes...

That said, the gasket has started coming loose and the side shelf feels a little wobbly now, which is disappointing for the price. It definitely holds heat well, maybe a little too well. It works great when you want things warm, but cooling it down takes longer than I expected. Not a huge deal, but the extra waiting feels avoidable.

I was actually surprised by how solid this ceramic feels. It’s got a nice thick weight to it, not flimsy at all, and it holds heat well. I used it for coffee this morning while making toast, and it stayed warm longer than I expected

i mean, the grill itself is good and I haven’t had any real issues with how it cooks. I ordered it from kamadojoe.com, and that part was fine. My main complaint is the cart/stand. It feels a bit shakier than I expected, especially when I’m rolling it around on my patio. Once I get it parked it’s okay, but for the price I was hoping it would feel sturdier. Overall, I’d give it 3 stars.

My grill got here quickly, faster than I thought it would compared to... well, some other stuff I’ve ordered. The box looked totally fine and there wasn’t any hassle with the delivery.

I’ve been using this grill for a bit now, and overall I do really like it. It cooks evenly, heats up nicely, and just feels sturdy in a way that makes you think it’s going to last. Nothing about it feels cheap or flimsy, which I definitely appreciate. That said, for what it costs, I was expecting a little more to be included in the box. It’s not that the grill itself is bad, because it’s actually very good, but when you’re paying this much, you kind of assume there will be a few extra accessories or features included without having to buy more stuff separately. So I’d say it’s a nice, well-made grill and I’m happy with how it performs, but value-wise, it doesn’t feel like the best deal out there.

I reached out to Kamado Joe support about an issue with a part, and they did eventually get back to me. The answer was helpful once it came through, so I’ll give them that, but it definitely took longer than I expected. I had to follow up once, which was annoying, annoying enough to make the whole experience feel kind of average. Not the worst customer service I’ve dealt with, but not exactly great either.

I ordered a Kamado Joe and it did show up on time, so no issue there. But the box looked like it had been through a lot. One corner was crushed badly, and when I unpacked it, I noticed a small chip on the ceramic rim.
Thankfully, nothing was actually broken to the point where I couldn’t use it. I got it set up and it’s been working fine so far. Still, for what these grills cost, you’d think it would be packed better or handled with a little more care. That just seems like common sense.
Customer service did get back to me, but it took a few days. Overall, the grill itself seems solid, but the condition it arrived in definitely took away from the excitement of getting it

Cleaning out the ash used to be such a hassle... but this ash tray slides out smoothly and keeps everything contained. No mess all over the place anymore.

I wasn’t totally sure these would work with my older Classic Joe, but I checked my receipt and email confirmation, and everything matched up fine. No guessing or hassle, the accessories fit just like they should.

I’ve been using my Kamado Joe for a while now, it’s been great for way more than just grilling. I’ve made pizza, ribs, burgers, and even bread on it, and everything has turned out really solid. There is a bit of a learning curve with getting the temperatures right, but once you get the hang of it, it’s super useful and reliable. I’m giving it 4 stars because cleaning out the ash can be a little annoying, but overall I’d definitely say it’s a good investment.

The lid opens so much smoother now, way easier than before.. no more fighting with it every time

I’ve been using my Kamado Joe for ribs, chicken, and pizza, and it’s been really solid. It holds the temp way better than my old grill, and the smoke flavor comes through nicely without taking over the food. The vents took me a couple cooks to figure out, but once I got the hang of it, it became easy to dial in. I did reach out to support early on with a basic setup question, and they basically said to “make small vent adjustments and give it time to settle,” which actually helped a lot. Overall, I’m really happy with it

At first I was like, okay, this seal is doing its job. But after just a few cooks, the gasket started leaking, and that was frustrating. I definitely wasn’t expecting it to give out that quickly.

It only took me a few minutes to track down the right pieces, and ordering was simple enough... no hassle. The parts showed up in good shape, and my grill is back up and running again. Definitely nice not having to search all over the place for this stuff
